Technical Document Engineer
Job Purpose:
To ensure effective and efficient management of technical documentation, procedures and graphical information of Asset Management and other departments that provide services to Sinyar’s managed properties. Ensure accurate records, decision-useful information and reporting that support internal quality control, governance and supplier & contract management are filed correctly and securely, are easy to find and comply with document management policies of the wider business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review procedures and implement strategies to standardize the Asset Register for every asset, ensuring it is complete and continually updated.
- Maintain, monitor, update, and regularly report asset register/data generated from the CAFM system.
- Review and address any inconsistencies in internal or CAFM reporting.
- Governed by internal procedures, maintain all project server filing, technical documents, method statements, detailed shop drawings, and day-to-day departmental correspondence to ensure all information is available, chronologically organized, and up to date.
- Coordinate with Operations and Projects team to receive handover documents, completion certificates, warranty certificates, operations and maintenance manuals, etc., ensuring all information is available and up to date.
- Review of all Purchase Requests as per the requirements for CAPEX and OPEX projects to deliver an organized each asset’s life cycle, including past, present, and future expectations.
- Ensure updated (amend changes and alterations) and detailed Civil and MEP drawings/graphical information, and make sure all documentation is available for each of the Client’s site in order to ensure current and historical information for projects, maintenance, internal processes, etc.
- Maintain accurate records of audits and condition assessments of all the Client’s assets.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Asset Manager.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Asset Management, Property Management, Business Management, or Contract Management.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Project Design, Execution with minimum 3 years in UAE.
- Development and Management of CAFM system.
- CAFM workflow engine and tools.
- MEP designs, Concepts, Site execution Methodology, Auto CAD, MS programs, Project document Control, all of the above in the engineering environment.
